The Young Makers Showcase

The Young Makers Showcase is a joyful, pressure‑free space where children’s creativity is celebrated in all its forms.

Every other month, we share a simple, open‑ended theme and invite children to create something inspired by it.... a drawing, a collage, a painted moment, a nature‑made treasure, or anything their imagination leads them to.

There’s no competition, no “best”, no comparison. Just a warm invitation to notice, make, explore and share.

Every creation sent to us is featured in our Young Makers Gallery, and every child receives a Young Maker certificate to honour their creativity. 

Why We Created the Showcase

At Wild & Wonder, we believe creativity grows when it’s nurtured gently. Children don’t need to compete.... they need space, encouragement and the chance to express themselves freely.

The Young Makers Showcase exists to: celebrate every child who creates, encourage families to pause and make together, build confidence through gentle recognition and inspire others with real, everyday creativity.

It’s a place where every child is seen, valued and celebrated.

How the Showcase Works

A theme is shared every other month in our announcements section.... simple, open and full of possibility.  

Children create in any way that feels right for them.

Families email a photo of the creation to us at youngmakers@wildandwonder26.com

Every entry is showcased in our Young Makers Gallery

Every child receives a certificate celebrating their creativity. 

A small number of designs are selected for something extra special.

The Young Makers Collection

Alongside our gallery, we also have the Young Makers Collection.... a small, carefully curated group of children’s designs that are turned into real products and made available on our website for a limited time.

Here’s how it works:

A professional artist reviews every creation with care and attention. They look for pieces that show creativity, originality, thoughtful interpretation of the theme, or suitability for a product.

Four designs are selected to join the Young Makers Collection for the next three months.

These designs are transformed into real products.... such as cards, prints or small keepsakes.... and sold through our website. 

The children whose designs are selected receive a physical product featuring their own artwork as a keepsake.

This isn’t a prize or a reward. It’s a celebration of seeing their creativity come to life in a new, tangible way.

A Gentle Note on Selection:  Every child is recognised. Every creation is celebrated. Every entry has a place in our gallery. The Young Makers Collection simply highlights a small number of designs that translate beautifully into physical products. Selections are based on creative qualities.... never on age, ability, materials or personal stories.

We never compare children. We celebrate them.
